Do I need to know how to read music to come to this camp?
All classes are taught by ear. However, if you can read notation it helps to understand the theory that is taught.

Absolutely, our instructors are wonderful at explaining and encouraging the first time ear player. You will come away
with more than you ever thought possible.

No, we ask that no pets be brought of any kind.

This year there will be some minimal fiddle luthier services available. We encourage you to bring
an extra set of strings for your instrument.

Yes, you can rent a keyboard for the week of camp. Please specify this on your registration.

Included in your package is a big green lawn under shady oak trees on which to pitch your tent, or a place to
park your RV with no hook-ups. Private, hot showers are available 24/7, as well as restroom facilities. A reasonable motel is available at your expense, within 8 minutes of camp.

What are the nearest airports?
Eugene, Oregon (40 miles) and Portland, Oregon(140 miles). Portland would be the closest for International Travel.
